My name is Holly, and I'm a writer and handmade shop owner (I've heard that saying it makes it so). :)

     Below are the things I like knowing about bloggers. Maybe you do, too.

     My husband's name is Tim, and in July (2014), we will celebrate our six year wedding anniversary. We have two dogs (Scarlett & Noel) and we live in The Great Midwest in a house with a red front door.

    I tell ya', Noel is a miniature version of ME. She is a Cocker Spaniel with a sweet spirit and an anxious heart. She loves naps and BBQ potato chips. She was Tim's dog before we got married, so I don't know how to do this “life” without her.

     Scarlett is a terrier mix we rescued from an organization called P.A.A.I.N roughly three weeks after our wedding. The process ignited a passion in us for rescuing animals (something we plan to do more of in the future). She is my soulmate, and I swear we have a secret language. We call her “The Beast,” for obvious reasons.

     The fact that I've already written only a few sentences about us and two entire paragraphs about our dogs is more telling than anything else I could write on this page.

     I married a Preacher's son, and am the daughter of a teacher. We know how to follow the rules and also how to host an excellent potluck.

We love Jesus and spend our days trying to do right by him.

For good measure, I will tell you that I like houseplants, riding my bike, and the smell of fresh limes.

I've also never met an avocado I didn't like.
